.The name of this village was Mozmabad at initially after the name of Shri Mozam Shash FAQUIR ( a saint ). Who used to live at this place during earlier days. That time this place was as Mozam Shah Faquir KA KHERA means place of Mozam Shah Faquir.That time it was a secread place. It flourished with the passing of time and was regional business center for exchange of that time currency probably name of that time local currency was HUNDI. It was a very big populated area mostly with Muslim community.Cloth weaveing was the main occupation of them.This place was famous for its blankets making with so many other buisness and commercial activities. This time period may be of during Mughals times in Delhi. With the passing of time A Rajput named Jwala Singh (originally said from Rajasthan State ) was passing from the village locality riding on an elephant. His elephant stopped there and make a sit to take rest. Since then Shri Jwala Singh decided to stay at this place. It has been told that other brother and family member who came with him riding on different elephants also made their permanent stay at near by locations where their elephants sat. Any way after some time the name of the village got changed to Mozmabad Jwalagarh after the name of Jwala Singh. Presently it's name is Jwalagarh.
